The M Factor 2: Before the Pause (Perimenopause) turns the spotlight on perimenopause, the years when symptoms can begin affecting women’s health, work, and everyday lives, often without clear answers or recognition.
Through real women’s stories and expert perspectives, the film explores:
Hidden Reality: Before the Pause shines a light on perimenopause the often ignored decade before menopause that disrupts women’s health lives and sense of stability
Dismissed Symptoms: Women are frequently told their symptoms are psychological or insignificant even as they struggle at work at home and in daily life
Workplace Impact: The film shows how perimenopause affects careers from classrooms to firehouses where systems are not designed to support women’s bodies
Medical Blind Spot: Doctors openly acknowledge gaps in training and knowledge that leave patients without clear answers or effective care
